Are you looking to change the aesthetics of your vehicle? Have you always wanted to tint your windows? If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, then you’ve come to the right place for your answers. At Stealth Window Tint, we specialize in automotive window tinting for any vehicle built after the year 1998 and pride ourselves on our customer service and ability to  repeatedly provide quality results.

Signs you should tint your windows

If you are on the road and happen to pass by a vehicle with sleek-looking window tints, it’s likely you might be experiencing some tint window envy. It’s normal, especially when having tinted windows provides such a sensational look to your vehicle. However, there are other really great things that having tinted windows can do for you to upgrade your vehicle and your personal experience while driving it. Check out our list of signs you should get your windows tinted below.

Bad gas mileage. If you have bad gas mileage during the summer, window tint can help. Tints block thermal rays and can help keep your car cooler, meaning less work for your AC system, which means your car won’t have to work as hard to keep your car cool.

Hot car. If you notice that your car feels like an oven during the warmer months of the year, window tints can help reduce the heat buildup inside of your car by up to 60%.

Blinded by the lights. If you are not a fan of having the sunlight or headlights shining on you while you drive, tinting your windows can help to protect your eyes from multiple sources of light. This can also make you a much safer driver.

Cracking interior. If you have noticed your dashboard, side panels, center console, or other harder surfaces in your vehicle are starting to crack, it’s likely due to exposure from the sun. Window tints can help block the UV rays, preventing them from causing more damage.

Fading upholstery. For the same reasons as mentioned above, the sun exposure can affect the upholstery in your car causing it to fade and look dull over time.

Theft. If you live in an unsafe area or have concerns about a car break in, window tinting can help block the view of a potential thief from seeing what’s inside your car. This then makes them less likely to break in. Additionally, window tinting helps to hold shattered glass in place so if someone tries to bash your window, it will take a great deal of effort.

our automotive window tinting process

Over the years, we have worked to perfect our tinting process so we can work efficiently and effectively while providing great results for all of our customers. Read more below to see our streamlined process for tinting your vehicles windows.

First, when you come into our business, you will most likely be greeted by one of our sales associates or managers. They will ask you a series of questions to determine exactly what service you are looking for and how we can help you.

Second, once we have determined what type of window tinting you are looking for, we will bring you over to the heat box so you can feel the difference between the types of film we offer.

Third, we will have you choose a film. You can choose from three types of films including basic, mid-grade 88% heat rejection, and prime 98% heat rejection film. The more heat rejection, the higher the price.

Fourth, we will put the film you choose into the tint wiz to get it ready for installation.

Fifth, we will pull your car into the shop bay, print out the film to match the size of your windows, lay the film on the car, and shrink it with heat guns.

Sixth, we will install the film, which can take up to 2 hours depending on the type of car.

Seventh, our technicians will let the film sit for about a half hour, and then double check to make sure everything looks how it should.

Eighth, we call you back to come look at your car and ensure your satisfaction. If everything looks as you want it to, we will then take payment.
